Casper, Wyoming - Fly Fishing Weekend

Rip and Hopper's Adventure is heading to Casper, Wyoming for a fun-filled weekend of fly fishing, education, and socializing. This will be a similar event like the United Women on the Fly Missouri River Weekend except we're going to have a festival, Fly Fish Casper, in the mix!! Both @Jen Ripple and @Heather Hodson will help connect you with other women who want to share lodging or a fishing guide.

This is a DIY Fishing Weekend. You're on your own fishing during the day and we all meet up in the evenings in Casper for an evening of fish tales and picture sharing. Contact Ugly Bug Fly Shop and Crazy Rainbow Fly Fishing to reserve a guide.

Feel free to bring your own boat, rent a boat, or hire a guide for one or two days of fishing. There are several lodging opportunities around town. Want to learn more about this event? Click here, or find the Casper, Wyoming Fishing Weekend on Facebook.

Thank you to Visit Casper! for putting on the festival and sponsoring this weekend!

Survival of the Fittest - Or Most Prepared

Survival of the Fittest - Or Most Prepared

This is the current view from my office window…in Tennessee.  I moved here from Chicago four years ago because I wanted to be somewhere warm, without that white stuff, and without the single-digit temperatures. To say I feel like I was sold a bill of goods this morning when
